Telangana Outlines Cooperative-led Rural Development at NABARD Conclave

NABARD organised the Telangana Cooperative Conclave 2025 in Hyderabad, highlighting cooperatives’ role in rural development and digital transformation. Agriculture and cooperation minister Tummala Nageswara Rao said that several initiatives by the state government had helped in improving the rice output to 189 lakh tonnes, making Telangana the second-largest rice producer in the country. He was speaking at the Telangana Cooperative Conclave. The event was held to mark the International Year of Cooperatives by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard) Telangana regional office.
