Datadog Opens an Office in Bangalore
Thursday, March 26, 2026
Datadog, an AI-powered observability and security platform for Cloud applications, has announced the opening of its new Bangalore office at Embassy Golf Links Business Park. The new office reflects Datadog’s rapid expansion in and rising demand from the India market, where accelerated Cloud migration and AI adoption are driving the need for unified observability and security capabilities.
Datadog currently has more than 100 employees in India, serving over 400 organisations across commercial, midmarket and enterprise segments. It supports many of the country’s most widely used digital platforms across food delivery, streaming and live sports, aviation, travel, fintech, E-commerce and connected mobility. Teams in the region span sales, sales engineering, technical support, customer success, technical account management, channels and alliances and go-to-market functions, with recruitment ongoing across all roles to support market demand. “This Bangalore office is more than a footprint expansion; it's a strategic command centre for one of Datadog's fastest-growing markets,” said Namit D’ Cruz, Regional VP, India and SAARC, Datadog. “Local organisations have moved decisively from AI experimentation to full-scale production and they're hitting a wall. Fragmented tooling, blind spots and security vulnerabilities that legacy solutions can't address. Datadog is uniquely positioned to solve this because we've spent 15+ years building what others are now scrambling to assemble.
“India has rapidly become one of Datadog’s most important growth markets - not just in APJ but globally. The velocity of Cloud adoption here, combined with the sophistication of AI-native engineering teams, makes Bangalor a strategic imperative, not an option. This expansion is a direct response to customer demand for deeper local expertise and faster response times,” said Rob Thorne, VP, APJ, Datadog. “Establishing Bangalore as a strategic hub allows us to build high-calibre local teams aligned to the needs of this market.”
