Aarthi Scans & Labs, an integrated diagnostics provider, has announced the implementation of BoneXpert, an AI-powered bone age analysis solution, across all its 100 centres nationwide.
Developed by a Europe-based AI med-tech company and CE-approved, BoneXpert is considered a good solution for automated bone age assessment. The technology is said to enable objective, accurate and reproducible bone age analysis, eliminating inter- and intra-observer variability and ensuring consistent results from the same X-ray every time.

Using a single left-hand X-ray, BoneXpert provides a comprehensive, multi-method assessment, including Greulich-Pyle (GP) bone age, Tanner-Whitehouse (TW2/TW3) bone age, carpal bone age, as well as Bone Age SDS and Bone Health Index (BHI). This depth of analysis enhances diagnostic confidence and supports clinicians in early identification of constitutional growth delay and endocrine abnormalities at an early stage.
